Paradise Juice

Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 Oct 2026

This policy explains what personal data Paradise Juice collects when you use this site, order online or take part in the loyalty programme, why we collect it and how to exercise your rights. It applies under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

1.Data controller

The controller of your data is Paradise Juice, 2 Rue des Messageries, 57000 Metz.

For any question about your personal data, contact us: at the counter.

2.What we collect

We only collect what we need to serve you:

  • Your account: email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), and your name, phone number and date of birth if you choose to give them, your preferred language and whether you want to hear about our seasonal news.
  • If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We never receive your Google password.
  • Your orders: the products and options you chose, the amounts, any discounts applied, the note you left for the team, the pickup time and the order’s progress.
  • Your loyalty: your member code, your points balance, your tier, the history of points earned and spent, and the rewards you redeemed.

We collect no card details: you pay at the counter.

3.Why we use it

  • To run your account, prepare your orders and keep you updated on them - necessary to provide the service you ask for.
  • To run the loyalty programme: crediting your points, working out your tier and applying your perks, including the birthday perk if you gave your date of birth - performance of a contract.
  • To send you our seasonal news, only if you agreed to it. You can withdraw that consent at any time from your account.
  • To protect the site against abuse and fraud (bot checks, preventing points from being credited twice) - our legitimate interest.
  • To follow how the shop is doing through aggregated figures (sales, most popular products) - our legitimate interest.
  • To keep the accounting records of our sales - a legal obligation.

We never sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4.Who can see it

Your data is available to the Paradise Juice team, limited to what each person needs: counter staff see orders and member codes, and only administrators can open full customer records.

5.How long we keep it

  • Your account is kept for as long as you use it. After 3 years without any activity, it is deleted.
  • Your points expire after 3 months without a purchase, under the loyalty programme’s rules.
  • Sales records are kept for 10 years, as French commercial law requires for accounting documents. Once your account is deleted, they are no longer linked to you.

6.Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising cookies and no audience-measurement tools. This site only uses what it strictly needs to work, which does not require your consent:

  • the session cookie, which keeps you signed in to your account;
  • your cart, saved in your browser (local storage) so an order in progress survives a page reload;
  • your answer to the offer to install the site on your home screen, so we do not ask again;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile’s bot check, when you sign in.

The site may keep a copy of the menu so you can browse it offline. It never caches your account, your points or your orders.

7.Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, the right to object, the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the right to set out what should happen to your data after your death.

You can change your name, phone number, date of birth, language and communication preferences yourself from your account. For anything else - a copy of your data, deleting your account - contact us: at the counter. We reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

8.Security

Traffic to and from the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to data is partitioned: each account only sees its own orders and points, and each team member only reaches what their role requires.

9.Changes

We may update this policy, for instance when we add a service. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. If anything important changes, we will tell you on the site or by email.
